Class Member Information
The Settlement Claims Administrator has completed a preliminary review of more than 6,000 settlement claims and, on October 28, 2019, and mailed “cure letters” to those of you whose claims were missing some of the information the Settlement requires. The Administrator has reviewed the “cure letter” responses and is now preparing initial determination letters. Once those are finalized, the parties have twenty-one (21) days to review the files and make comments for the Administrator to consider. It is hoped that the letters will be ready to go out in the mail by April.
Be sure to watch your mail closely. If the determination letter states that any part of your claim has been denied, you will have a limited time to submit an appeal. The Administrator will be able to calculate payment amounts after the appeals have been resolved and begin issuing payments. For now, it’s impossible for us to know how long this will take; but we’re still hoping payments will be ready for distribution during the first half of 2020.
Thank you for your patience.
