Miner, Barnhill & Galland has a long standing and varied antitrust practice. The firm has represented plaintiffs in price fixing actions involving everything from the fixing of real estate commissions to cartels unlawfully setting the price of vitamins. They have also litigated complex tie - in cases as well as cases alleging monopolistic practices in the sale of bar review materials, the sale of certain prescription drugs and the sale of laser eye surgery equipment, among others. Recently they represented a consortium of insurers in law suits against drug manufacturers for unlawful acquisitions of patents that involved issues of intellectual property in the antitrust context. The firm has also been retained by defendants in such cases.
