The firm has represented clients in a number of large-scale lawsuits challenging attempts by employers to reduce or eliminate employee benefits. Sarah Siskind, of the Madison office, has been particularly active in this area, acting as co-lead counsel in several cases, including a suit against Unisys for a class of 10,000 retirees, In re Unisys Retiree Medical ERISA Benefits Litigation MDL 986 (E.D.Pa.). That case settled for total payments of approximately $84 million.
