Jeffrey I. Cummings serves as a panelist for a program titled “The History of the Voting Rights Act in the Seventh Circuit” produced by the Seventh Circuit Bar Association.

The discussion focused on litigation in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals with a historical perspective of the Voting Rights Act.  The program took place on September 25th at the Dirksen Federal Courthouse. Magistrate Judge Valdez along with District Judge Lynn Adelman and University of Michigan professor Ellen Katz also served on the panel. For the program outline, click here.
